    Speaker:                    Lisa M. Dupnock, PhD

    Dr. Lisa Dupnock is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Hospitality Management at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Lisa has over 25 years of work experience from a variety of industries including; hospitality, government, human resources, small business, healthcare and academia. She is a board member of Indiana County Area Society of Human Resource Management, the Pennsylvania Laurel Highlands Chapter of Labor and Employment Relations Association, Delta Chapter Advisor of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority, and is an active member of several other community and university committees.

    Discussion Topic:         Gender in the Workplace

    The workplace is a dynamic environment with a variety of challenges for human resource professionals. Some of the challenges are just making sure that the workplace is an accepting and welcoming environment for all employees. This session will help human resource professionals navigate through the topic of gender in the workplace with a focus on the changing Pennsylvania laws in regards to same sex marriage.
