Rescheduled February 2015 Meeting! Breakfast Presentation on 'Leading Organizational Change' with Sonia Layne-Gartside
PRE-APPROVED for 1.0 HRCI Business Credit
Organizations need to innovate and change in order to survive. Yet, while many in organizations seem to be able to solve complicated technical problems, they fail miserably at implementing even the simplest changes. Whether it comes through strategic planning or as a response to outside events, change must be managed effectively to achieve organizational excellence. This seminar will help you answer the question – How do you help people open themselves up to change? Leaders must learn how to not only manage change, but also how to manage the inevitable human transitions that people experience when faced with significant change. Participants in this training will learn how to deal with these dual challenges and how to lead their organizations through the change process.
Speaker Bio: Sonia Layne-Gartside is a dynamic and results-oriented global Leadership and Change Management specialist who have been developing and implementing customized training and executive education programs in several formats (classroom, online and blended) for the past 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Management Studies and a Master’s in Education and is also a certified change manager, trainer, online instructor and instructional designer. She currently works with C-Suite and senior leaders in designing leadership programs for managers and high-potentials, and with companies to get their employees to embrace needed changes by designing and implementing change management strategies and plans.
