    Indiana County Area SHRM Privacy Policy

    The Indiana County Area Society for Human Resource Management (ICASHRM) is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust, and accordingly maintains the following Privacy Policy to protect the personal information you provide online.

    This Privacy Policy discloses ICASHRM's privacy practices and contains detailed information about the following:

    What information does ICASHRM collect?

    We do not collect personal information about you unless you specifically and knowingly provide such information to us.

    Instances where we may collect such information include:

    • Where you have filled in a form requesting information.
    • Where you have disclosed personally identifiable information on discussion forums, career listings, etc.

    In the above-mentioned instances, personal information collected may include your name, title, organization name, address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address. We only use your personal information to help us service your request, to improve our services to you and to inform you about additional services that may be of interest to you.

    What organization collects the information and who has access to it?

    We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about members to the Indiana County Area Society for Human Resource Management (ICASHRM) and the Chapter’s Officers, Chair, and Committee members with a business reason to know this information in order to provide member services to our members. The Chapter may share mailing lists (names, mailing addresses, e-mail addresses) of our members to selected human resources affiliates and service providers as authorized in advance by the Chapter’s Officers.

    The Chapter may be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide information on individual members to the appropriate governmental authorities. In matters involving a danger to personal or public safety, the Chapter may voluntarily provide information to appropriate governmental authorities.

     How does ICASHRM use the information it collects?

    Your personal information will only be used for the purposes of that request unless you otherwise provide us with your consent. Non-personal aggregate information may also be extracted or compiled from the information we collect. Such information may be used to generate statistics and aggregate reports for internal use by the Association. In this instance, these statistics and reports will contain only aggregated and no personally identifiable information. Your identity is kept strictly anonymous.

    What types of security procedures are in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information collected?

    ICASHRM has security measures, such as firewalls, in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of your user data under our control. While we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration to data will not occur, we take reasonable precautions to prevent such unfortunate occurrences.

    All services on the ICASHRM website are made available subject to this Privacy Policy. By using the services, you agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

    ICASHRM will update this policy from time to time, so please check back periodically. When such changes occur, you will see the word "updated" next to the Privacy Policy link on each page on our website.
