    Februrary Chapter Meeting and Lunch Presentation with Michelle Arose on 'Workplace Vilence: Active Shooter Readiness and Response'

    This presentation will help HR professionals understand the importance of developing an emergency response plan as well as the need to train employees on how to respond if confronted with an active shooter in the workplace. The course is intended to help managers and employees anticipate and respond appropriately to an Active-Shooter situation, manage the consequences of an Active-Shooter incident and recognize potential workplace-violence indicators so these types of incidents may be prevented.

    Speaker Biography: Officer Michelle Arose has been with IUP Police Department for approximately 3.5 years. She has partnered with FEMA to present Active Shooter Training for awareness and preparedness in the Indiana area.
