We will be meeting Thursday January 11 at 8:30 AM at the Hilton Garden Inn for our first chapter meeting of the year. A continental breakfast will be provided.
This month George Basara will be presenting on "Pennsylvania Wage Payment Law and Fair Standards Law Compliance Update". The presentation will review the following topics: The difference between federal and state wage laws, Understanding the employers obligation to pay overtime and Employers obligation on timely pay on all compensation owed and commissions to terminated employees.
George Basara has practived labor and employment law for over 30 years and was the EVP of HR at S&T Bank for 7 years. He has been advising employers on all aspects of HR, labor and employment law.
