President's Letter

    January 11, 2020

As we enter 2020, I am honored to serve the Indiana County Area SHRM as your new President.  I am also pleased to have the following officers on this journey with me:

    • Sarah Ramer, President Elect
    • Lisa Sabo, Treasurer
    • Amber Gregory, Secretary

We have an exciting year ahead of us, filled with a new selection of chapter meeting topics and networking events, as well as a SHRM Certification study group and programming that will highlight the great expertise and talent from within the ICASHRM chapter.

Our 2020 Membership Drive is officially underway!
I am excited to welcome a number of new members who have already started to take advantage of the benefits our local SHRM chapter has to offer.  I am also grateful for our returning members and your continued involvement in ICASHRM.  I truly value your commitment to both the chapter and your personal professional growth.

Membership  applications are available (see attached). Forms can be mailed to ICASHRM, PO Box 1252, Indiana PA with a check, or payment can be made by PayPal (or bring them with you to the first meeting). Please note, we are continuing to offer a 'multiple member discount' on local chapter dues for companies who have three or more members joining in 2020.

    Important Reminders:

    • First Chapter Meeting – Our first chapter breakfast meeting is being held on Friday, January 17 at St. Andrew’s Village (invitation to follow).

    • Bring a Guest ICAHSRM members are eligible to bring one guest per year, free of charge, to any of our chapter meetings (guest RSVP required).  Additional meetings for non-members are $25.00 each.

    • Student Memberships – We offer complimentary attendance at our chapter meetings to students enrolled in an HR degree program and active membership/participation in the IUP SHRM (Graduate or Undergraduate) Chapters.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
