She holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, a Master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in English with minors in Law and German. Her day-gig, which she also loves, is serving as the director of the Career & Professional Development Center at IUP. In addition to public speaking, career services, and employer relations, her experience in higher education includes leadership development, service-learning, community service/volunteerism, and fraternity-sorority affairs. Tammy has served and continues to serve in various leadership roles within professional organizations and has won numerous awards for her leadership and contributions. She has addressed audiences at Juniata College, Penn State New Kensington, Pitt Greensburg, Penn State University, Clarion University, Slippery Rock University a long-term care facility, state and national conferences, and of course, IUP. Her interests include speaking, writing, and research, as well as health and fitness.
