    During the past decade, LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) people are being more fully accepted in society and are “out” and visible in the workplace. Because of the increasing prevalence in the workplace of LGBT people, it is now critical for HR practitioners to understand LGBT rights, how current law relates to those rights, and to implement programs that supporting LGBT diversity, while minimizing risks to the organization.  

    Speaker Biography:

    John Baker is the managing partner of the Firm's State College Office. John regularly represents and counsels employers on various labor and employment issues, including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA compliance. John's clients include employers in the private and public sectors, including union and non-union employers.
