This month Ashley Walker will be presenting on the Power of Mentorship.

Employers are constantly looking for ways to retain talent within their organizations. It has been found that when an employer fosters an environment that encourages a growth and development mindset, employees are more engaged.

Mentorship creates an opportunity for employees to continually grow and enhance skillsets, for themselves and for others, all while inspiring confidence.

Mentorship Programs provide employees with the unique platform to connect with others and to work towards career goal aspirations together.

Ashley Walker has been in Human Resources for the last 8 years. Ashley studied Employment and Labor Relations from IUP, where she earned her Graduate Degree in 2016. Ashley currently serves as ICASHRM’s President Elect, serves on the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association, Young Professionals Committee and has served as an HR consultant to a local non-profit.

Ashley’s experiences include working in a multitude of industries throughout her tenure, however the majority of her experience has mostly been in the financial services/banking realm.

Through Ashley’s current role as an HR Leader, she leads various HR initiatives and strategies that help drive the business forward. Without hesitation, Ashley would share that her favorite initiative is leading the Mentorship Program, a program that inspires and affords all 1500 employees across her company the opportunity to invest in themselves and others.
