President's Letter - Ringing in the new ICASHRM year!

Welcome back members and hello to all our potential new members! Here's hoping you are all staying safe and warm over the last week.We are pleased to announce that all of our 2014 Officers are returning to serve you and the Indiana County community.

Along with the remainder of our hard working Board of Directors, as shown on our 2015 Board of Directors Tab, we all hope to see you at this month's first chapter meeting on January 23, 2015....where yes, our final three (3) punch card winners will be announced!

Our full programming schedule is set for the year, with more details on the meeting dates and topics shown on our Meetings and Events tab. A HUGE thank you to Kristen Graf, our 2015 Programming Chair for all her diligent efforts to pack the calendar with exciting speakers and topics, planned using feedback from our recent Member Survey. We also wish to extend a hearty THANKS!! to Ellen Starry, our outgoing programming chair for a great programming year in 2014.

MARK your calendars and tell a friend! 2015 brings another conference year and conference planning is in full swing. We'll be taking over the Rustic Lodge on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 along with our partners at McNees, Wallace and Nurrick and plenty of vendor sponsors to offer you a FULL DAY session of education and networking. HRCI and SHRM credit pending approval. As you may have guessed, our 2015 Membership Drive is  now underway!, with our Application and Invoice located here.  As always, our membership dues include admittance at all chapter meetings, most of which are typically HRCI certified and now SHRM certified.

New this year? Discounted pricing for multiple members from the same employer, new giveaways at chapter meetings, and new chances to get together outside of chapter meetings at both social events and for charity causes....ALL based on your Member Survey Feedback. Thanks to a new program partnership with PA State SHRM, we have also restructured our student memberships and will be working closely with our local IUP undergraduate and graduate student SHRM chapters on these student memberships changes.

Please be sure to renew your ICASHRM membership by January 31, 2015.  Bring your application and payment to our January Chapter meeting or drop it in the mail to continue to receive all of our membership benefits.
