2025 President's Letter

An official welcome to 2025! I am honored and excited to serve as President for the Indiana County Area Society of Human Resources Management Chapter (also known as ICASHRM) for another term. The 2025 ICASHRM Chapter Executive Officers are:
President – Amber Gregory (First Commonwealth Bank)
President Elect – Ashley Walker (First Commonwealth Bank)
Treasurer – Sarah Ramer (The Reschini Group)
Secretary – Whitney Carmichael (Alice Paul House)
Our Chapter meets on the second Thursday of each month at Saint Andrews Village, and the FIRST meeting of 2025 will be on Thursday January 9th at 12:00 pm. The formal invitation was sent out by our Secretary, Whitney Carmichael. If you did not receive it please let us know!
We, the Board, called our members to action last year, and we are opening that door of opportunity again. Please get involve by being invested in our Chapter for the sake of our own professional development, for our companies/organizations, and also for our community. We remain focused on the expertise within our Chapter; a wide variety of industries’ HR teams are represented within our membership roster, and we would like the majority of 2025 speakers to come from our Chapter.
With this call to action in mind, we continue to encourage all returning and new members to attend and actively participate in monthly Chapter Meetings, invite guests, join a committee, and be willing to share insights with others! Exchanging knowledge with one another is key in building, not only our Chapter, but our network and community. This engagement will help us become better equipped to handle the ever changing and evolving profession of HR. Together we can make a difference!
Membership Applications are available via the link on our website and within the emails sent by Kristie Reigel, our Membership Chair; payment can be made via PayPal or check mailed to ICASHRM, P.O. Box 1252, Indiana, PA 15701. Please note we are again offering a ‘multiple member discount,’ information included in the application.
Please reference the ‘Meetings and Events’ page on our website for all of the 2025 Chapter Meeting dates and times. Also, 2025 is an ICASHRM Conference year! If you would like to join the Conference Planning Committee, please reach out directly to our Conference Chair and Past President, Laci Jansure, at ljansure@gmail.com.
